Below are suggestions on how to obtain the following: 1) Registration Renewals A) You may mail in your renewal with a copy of your vehicle insurance, vehicle inspection report, vehicle renewal notice if available (if not please write your vehicle information, name and mailing address on an additional sheet of paper) and your payment. B) You can also renew your vehicle registration online at TXDMV.GOV. 2) Replacement Plates and Registration Stickers A) You may mail in an application for replacement license plates and/or registration stickers. Form # VTR-60 is available at TXDMV.GOV. 3) Disabled Placards A) Applications can be mailed in with a copy of the disabled person ID and prescription. Please note, if the application and prescription are marked temporary there is a $5 fee for each placard. 4) Title transfer will be available once the office is back open to the public. Please see the attached documents from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) 1) Granting a temporary extension to obtain initial registration, renewal of registration and renewal of a permanent disabled parking placard. 2) Waiver for time in which to apply for title and the associated delinquent transfer penalty. Our office will remain staffed and available to assist other county offices without interruption. Rest assured, we will continue processing mail requests for renewals, replacement plates and stickers. We’ll also be answering phone calls and e-mails.
