Summit OverviewAmazon Web Services will host our 8th Annual Worldwide Public Sector Summit
for Government, Education and Nonprofits Summit on June 12-14, 2017 in
Washington, DC. The WWPS Summit is one of the world’s largest public sector cloud
gatherings and brings together developers, IT, and line of business leaders to address
current best practices and trends in cloud computing as well as solutions that can be
instantly applied.
Sessions will feature public sector organizations sharing how the cloud enables
more mission for the money, acquisition strategies in government, and optimizing
security while reducing costs. We expect 5,000+ attendees. Tracks will include:
Mobility and IoT, Security and Compliance, Security Technical, DevOps, Open Data,
Enterprise Adoption (All-in, Hybrid), Big Data, Community Cloud (GovCloud and IC),
Transformation and Innovation, Health and Life Sciences, and Enterprise Apps, as
well as sessions dedicated to Partners.
Other Events of Interest: We have added a Pre-Day to the event for workshops,
bootcamps and meetings. We will host our fourth GovCloud (US) Customer Advisory
Board, as well as an Executive Experience, Cloud Lounge, Hands-on Labs, and
Vertical Roundtables.

Attendee Demographics
Attendee demographics are comprised of all technology-
related job roles with the majority of attendees identifying
as developers, engineers, or IT decision makers from the
government, nonprofit, and education industries. Over
95% of attendees live in close (within driving) proximity to
the Summit venue. This group is predominantly male with
an age range of 25-55 years.
We are planning for 5,000 attendees in Washington, DC in
2017.

Sponsorship Packages Overview
Five Event Sponsorship packages are available for the 2017 AWS Worldwide Public Sector Summit for
Government, Education and Nonprofits. Each of these packages has been created with various objectives and
price points in mind, recognizing that each of our valued sponsors has different goals and budgets.
Please note there are a limited number of sponsorships and add-ons available (for add-ons, see pages 15 & 16).

includes one 2-hour bootcamp training session on the Pre-Day.
