“Commitment to Excellence” is our guiding motto this year at E.R. Dickson. We are excited about another spectacular year of learning for your student. As a Mobile County Public Schools Innovation School, our focus is multi-tiered: Digital Literacy, Project-Based Learning and Talents Unlimited Instruction.
The instructional staff at E.R. Dickson is committed to providing high-quality instruction and has been trained on current, research-based educational prac-tices to foster student growth on all levels.
It is our desire for students to have a well-rounded experience at E.R. Dickson that prepares students for the curricular rigor and demands of middle and high school and beyond. This will be accomplished by fo-cusing on the CCRS daily and by addressing all stu-dent needs as outlined in Alabama’s Plan 2020.
Students at E.R. Dickson are taught from an interdis-ciplinary, thematic curricular unit of study approach. Numerous performance tasks and projects are assigned to students to further their academic growth.
