Hans Schwarz Professor of Protestant Theology at Regensburg University and ordained Pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Bavaria (Germany). Regular guest lecturer at universities and theological seminaries in Asia, Australia, Europe and the U.S.A. His research focuses on the relationship between theology and science; the theology of the reformers, and the history of theology of the 19th and 20th century. Professor Schwarz has a special interest in ecumenical relations and the young churches of Asia. More than 25 books and numerous scholarly articles: The God Who Is. The Christian God in a Pluralistic World. (Eugene, OR: Wipf and Stock, 2010) Theology in a Global Context. (Grand Rapids, MI/USA-Cambridge/UK: Eerdmans, 2005) Christology (1998), Eschatology (2000), Creation (Grand Rapids, MI: Eerdmans, 2002). True Faith in the True God. An Introduction to Luther's Life and Thought (Minneapolis: Augsburg, 1996) Both of these presentations focus on the exposition of Genesis 1-2. Prof. Schwarz interprets the story of creation for people today and discusses challenging questions by natural sciences. Professor of Protestant Theology at Regensburg University and ordained Pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Bavaria (Germany). Regular guest lecturer at universities and theological seminaries in Asia, Australia, Europe and the U.S.A.

His research focuses on the relationship between theology and science; the theology of the reformers, and the history of theology of the 19th and 20th century. Professor Schwarz has a special interest in ecumenical relations and the young churches of Asia.
