The Member Secretary, A.P.Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad has fixed the date time and venue for the Environmental Public Hearing (EPH) for the proposed project. Accordingly. Press notification was issued on 28.07.2014 to Eenadu (Telugu) and The Hindu (English) Newspaper'. They were published on 28.07.2014 in the both News Papers.
The Environmental Public Heating was conducted on 27.08.2014 at the premises of Proposed project site, Sy. Nos. 227, 228 & 137 (136), Shabashpally. Village, Shivampet Mandal, Medak District, Telangana State as per the procedure laid down in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification, 2006. A copy of the Minutes of the EPH held on 27 08.2014 and DVD (2 Nos.) of recorded proceedings are herewith ::ihroitted for kind information and further action.

The EE, APPCB, RO, R.C.Puram requested the Addl. Joint Collector, Medak to preside over the public hearing process.
Iii Acidl. Joint Collector, Medak District explained briefly about the environmenial
public hearing process. He requested the Public representatives, NGOs and experts, villagers ;o
participate in Public hearing He informed that the public hearing will be conducted in
transparent manner and its proceeding is video recorded and it wilt be forwarded to the IVioe&F,
i:101 and copies also will he communicated to the Gram panchayats. He then requested the
ilnoe nmr,oit of the industry to explain in detail, the salient features of the proposed project.
Sri. T.S. Prasad, M.D of the proposed project welcomed the gathering and stated chat
he proposed Bulk Drugs & Intermediates (API) like antibiotic products unit with R & 1)
unit, in the proposed project site with an investment of 31.5 crores. He informed that they
estalish the unit as per the USFDA standards and 90 to 95 % products are exported, due

is informed that they have obtained TOR from the MoE&F and prepared EIA as per the Tor,

rupees for Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and they will construct ETP before iho

Lid Hyderabad has explained about the features of the proposed project as follows:
The project proposed to manufacture 70 Bulk Drugs & Intermediates ..in campaign basis i.e., any nine products will be manufactured at a time with capacity of 708 TPA.
2 They have proposed to setup the protect in an area of 9.33 Ha with approxiMate project cost of Rs 31.5 Crores.

4 The water requirement of the project will be 308 KLD (176 KLD Fresh water cold 132 KU) of Recycled water) and the total quantity of effluent generated front unit will be 136 KLD.
5. The effluent will be treated in Stripper followed by Multiple Effect Evaporatur (MEE) and ATFD. The MEE & ATFD Condensate will be treated in the ETP followed by RO System. The ATFO salts to TSDF,
6. The proponent has proposed three nos of Coal fired Boilers of 2 X 5 TPH and :3

C. The main source of noise pollution is from DG Sets ( 350 & 250 KVA), motors, compressors.
The process emissions will be control by providing scrubbers

12. The proponent has proposed Zero Liquid Discharge system to treat the offluelite generated from the proposed activity & reuse.

Sri. I larikishan, MPTC, Shivampet mandal welcomed the project as the proposed
eiojeet will create employment to the local people. He expressed his displeasure for providing

unit of the same management so that the people will know about their commitment. He stated

the prpponent to explain in detail about the treatment facilities proposed for treatment of the
eeoerated. He demanded for installation of RO plants in the surrounding villages. He

people instead of local people, therefore. he is requested the proponent make sure that such

tine he expects the proposed project to be pollution free. He stated that the villages are to be
developed by establishment of the industries and requested the villagers to come forward and
clarify their doubts.
Sri. T. S. Prasad, M.D. of the proposed project has informed that he has noted down all
the points raised by Harikishan and promised that he will install RO, Plant in the shabashpally
tiillage before the construction of the plant.
Sri. Chandra Gaud, Sarpanch Gomaram Village stated that the proposed project is
