• TXDOT has provided information required for their approval of the electrical plan for the public art installation.

• The artists have identified an electrical contractor as well as an electrical engineer. They are ready to start working on the electrical plan.

• The electrical plan is needed for final TXDOT approval.

• Upon TXDOT approval, and upon PAC and CAC approval, public art staff can construct a contract for City Council approval.

• Art Project Budget: $44,261-funding not yet released.

• Scope of project-project description:  20,000 sq.ft. branch library, including a 150-seat multi-purpose space

• Timeline for design/design architect Design phase is scheduled for completion by December 2012

• Timeline for construction: Begin construction May 2013• Complete construction May 2014• Site restrictions-None• Neighborhood associations or community members near the
