On average, 1 minute of video takes 7 – 8 hours of work to complete.


So should you make a video?



Some golden rules

Know your message and your audience

The main point of a film is to show, not tell Make films you would want to see



Pre-production

Budget time

Get permission (not about quality but it’s worth mentioning)



Production

Keep it properly lit

Keep it properly framed

Think about cutaways/b-roll
