Short Manual for

PÖTIC in Online- and Offline-Mode

This material is intended for the staff in the

Distribution network of PÖTTINGER

General information:

PÖTIC is the central tool for all the employees of the PÖTTINGER dealers and contains all functions that enable a successful quotation and sales process. PÖTIC is available in: German, English, French, Italian, Nederland, Czech, Polish, Dansk and Finnish PÖTIC is

as online system in the PÖTTINGER PartnerPortal

as offline system, which updates through downloading or synchronizing with the central system and

from spring in 2016 as APP for IOS available. PÖTIC is provided for systems from Windows Vista, 7.0 respectively 8.0, 8.1 and 10 and Internet Explorer from IE 9.0 (the current is 11.0) and Firefox.

The most important functions in PÖTIC:

A series of features turn PÖTIC into a complete information platform for the salesman. Along with the creation of a complete quotation and the order processing, the following information and functions are available for the salesman:

- Machine Configuration

- Creation of a Shopping basket

- Printing option for Quotation and Contract

- Ordering of Accessories supplied separately

- Technical Details

- Product images / videos

- Product description (TOP 5)

- Documents (e.g. Operator`s Manual)

- Price sheet

- Exporting of Price List Data

Documents like Operator’s Manuals, Videos can be found under Information.

Create a Quotation:

The creation of a quotation starts with the selection of a machine through Machine search or

by clicking on the products.

Selection of Bestseller Machines.

Bestseller machines are pre-configured

machines by PÖTTINGER. Only loose

accessories can be changed and the delivery

time is shorter. The continuing procedure is

the same as in the configuration.

In stock machines will be listed with the

corresponding status and can be offered as

bestsellers to the customer. This part of

PÖTIC is still in development

The configuration page is built as follows:

The machines can only be configured if it is possible to build them. If you select a position,

which depends on other parts of the machine, an additional window opens where you have

to confirm with OK or cancel.

You might notice the symbol on the configuration page, which opens the technical

details and the sales text. Within the function Compare, the technical comparison from max.

3 machines is possible. In addition images and the TOP 5 (detailed product description) can

be opened.

Once all the technical configuration of the categories/component groups is completed the

quotation can be related to an end customer.

As a result the quotation can be saved or additional machines can be added. The customer

price can be calculated with the calculation functions of PÖTIC. Moreover dealer accessories

and Trade in machines can be added.

Configuration details can be downloaded in TXT or XML format on this page.

We would like to point out the possibility to create an competitive, informative and well-

structured quotation for your customer.

Quotation changes

Each Configuration can be changed within a certain period of time.

All changes in the quotation, which are already transferred to an order will be tested

regarding its feasibility (depending on the order status). They are revised by PÖTTINGER.

Contract / Contract changes

The next step after quotation is Create contract.

Order

The salesman has the possibility to order the machine with the configuration as shown in the

Quotation/Contract or to add machines which are in stock.

Order changes

Changes of the desired shipping date, order type and respectively of all changeable positions

can be made in the same way and will be sent to PÖTTINGER for confirmation.

If changes to the configuration are required (and still possible to be made), the contract must

first be opened so that the configuration can be changed. Subsequently, you have to

continue until the order page opens, afterwards the order with your desired changes can be

sent.

Shopping basket

In the shopping basket different stock machines can be ordered at once.

The shopping basket provides the following functions:

o Add machines (also from templates)

o Change the quantity per machine

o Add own notes

o Add Information for PÖTTINGER

o Add Customer order number

o Select Desired delivery date

o Select Client and Consignee

Accessories supplied separately

In the menu section „Accessories supplied separately“ additional parts of the current product

program can be ordered.

Along with the known access by selecting the model series, you can also search by entering

the model name or number (e.g. 3001).

After Copy the ordered positions are located on the right-hand side in the order list

Administration

The Administration menu provides the application of certain settings:

o Dealer Data:

o Dealer’s address

o Design of quotation print: for example.: Texts in Document header, Upload

Dealer Logo, Upload Terms & Conditions of the dealer

o Save up to three different texts for the document header

o Salesman Data:

o Information about the salesman

o Internal:

o Save individual calculation templates to apply in the internal calculation

o Order Calculation:

o Save individual calculation templates to apply in the order calculation

o Settings:

o Language- and Print settings

o Dealer Accessories:
