- Bedroom 1 - not less than 11.00m2- Bedroom 2 - not less than 9.30m2- Bedroom 3 - not less than 6.50m2- minimum width of every habitable room shall be not less than 2.0m

- Kitchen In residential - minimum area = 4.50m2- minimum width = 1500mm

- wash room - 1500 x 750- bathroom - 2.00m2 (min width 750mm)

PART VII – FIRE REQUIREMENTS

1. photograph A COLLECTION OF FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENTS; namely fire extinguisher, sprinklers, fire door, break glass, etc.

a) Describe their individual functions and also in relation to the Uniform Building By-Law.

b) Discuss from the collection of pictures taken in your selected building how these equipment are specified/placed. Are they well maintained?

c) The Uniform Building By-Law has a series of clauses specifying the construction and usage of staircases. Study and summarize all the content on staircases. Where necessary, sketches of your relevant point is advisable.
