Power DriveHigh-quality spherical plain bearings and fl oating discs increase the service life of the guide system.Dirt cannot get in, and grease cannot escape.The central lubrication system supplies the joint with suffi cient grease. The crosses are equipped with a blue P-Seal. Convenient greasing is achieved thanks to the in-cap grease nipple. Power Drive wide-angle joints have to be lubricated every 40 hours, where the Standard version is every 8 hours

PTO Shafts - Identifi cation of your PTO requirementsThe fi rst and most important information needed in identifying your PTO requirements is the size of the Cross / Universal Joint. That is; the diameter of the caps & the width of the cross. This determines the strength of your requirements. The rest can be identifi ed by measuring the closed length of your shaft or guard, the quick release yokes (number & size of the splines) or inboard yokes profi le tubing. Walterscheid PTO Guards - SD and SDF TypeThe different safety requirements imposed on PTO Guards are met by Walterscheid’s unit construction system involving SC & SD guard designs. The SD design of PTO guard meets the requirements in ISO 5674 and also the future EU requirements. The PTO drive shaft guard, fi tted with standard cones, is supplied in graded length. Guard tubes and guard cones may only be shortened in a way that rotating components are protected and that suffi cient overlap with the safety devices at the tractor and implement ends are provided.

The torque setting can be modifi ed with the aid of a setting ring and two alternative location slots in the clutch housing.

1. The setting ring provides for a min. position and max. position.2. The clutch housing incorporates two locating positions for the setting ring (Position 1 and 2) which are situated at different levels.

For each spring pack, four torque settings are possible (see table below)
