Project
Aims of the project: Development of a new course of further
professional education of technical workers. Preparation of e-learning study material freely
available via network of the Centre of Education of the Liberec Region.
Development of cooperation of the Centre of Continuing Education at the TUL, Centre of Education of the Liberec Region and enterprises in the Liberec Region.

Elementary course information The course is intended for graduates in
technical or scientific specializations, who work as managers in small and medium enterprises.
The objective of the course is to inform students about: elementary issues of psychological and social
disciplines main techniques of communication and work with
people
Elementary course informationCharacteristics of the course: The course has been divided in five
modules in the extent of 8 to 32 hours of in-class learning.
Each module represents at least 10 hours of work with the electronic study environment and 40 hours of independent studies.
Elementary course information The course has two semesters, with in-
class learning ensured at weekends, 6 weekend days per each semester
Examinations (e) are organized in form of a test or a semester thesis and an oral examination
Credits (c) in form of a test or a semester thesis or active participation in practical training

Electronic study material The elementary study support is electronic
study material developed in the study environment Moodle.
The aim of the study support is making available elementary study text, information on studies
And enabling mainly the following activities: discussion among participants consulting with the tutor preparation and submitting of semestral theses feedback activities
Information on the pilot course
The pilot course was launched on 3 November , therefore we can only focus on results of input questionnaires
23 students entered the course, 20 of them submitted the entrance questionnaire
They study mainly due to professional reasons They have learned about the course mainly
from websites They evaluate their input knowledge of
psychology by average mark 3 (1 – 5, 1 the best)
Information on the pilot course Average age of
students is 33 years; average length of their practice in branch is 10 years
14 students graduated in higher education institutions, others in secondary schools
