Patented, Static-Dissipative CircuitBoard ShelvingStatic-dissipative shelving, mounted to stainlesssteel tracks, protects sensitive circuit boards fromESD by controlling the rate of electrical flow througheach shelf to ground. Each shelf is constructed of aspecially formulated static-dissipative polymer witha surface resistivity 106-109 ohms per square. Thegrooved design on both the top and underside ofeach shelf allows for easy insertion and removal ofcircuit boards while providing safe, high-densitycircuit board storage. Shelves are infinitely adjust-able to accept any circuit board height.

PWGM Wrist Strap Tester/Monitor(optional)To assure proper ESD procedures, an optionalpersonnel wrist strap tester and monitor (PWGM) isavailable and can be built into each cabinet.Conveniently located in the cabinet centerpost, thePWGM easily verifies that a technician’s wrist strapis making a proper ground and remains correctlyconnected. The PWGM can also be connected tothe central ground system. The PWGM sounds analarm if the technician’s wrist strap inadvertentlydisconnects, or if the cabinet ground shoulddisconnect from the central ground system.

Model WS70-72 and WS70-96static-safe workbenches eliminatestatic build-up to protect ESD-sensitive components and circuitboards from costly damage duringroutine work operations. PSSIworkbenches provide full ESDprotection required for static-safeprocedures of packing, testing,cleaning, repairing, and other routinemaintenance of circuit boards.
