PSE Weekly Howl Week of November 11th!!! PSE Holiday Helpers—Please consider signing up to provide items for families in need… Each year we provide support for a few families in the PSE community gifts for the holiday season. Rather than ask for specic items with specic sizes, we are asking for gift cards This will allow parents to shop for better selections for their children. This is completely optional! However, if your family is willing and able to support, we'd love your help! Please bring in gift cards in the amount of $25 that will help the families shop for their children. Items are due to the PSE oce by Friday, December 6th. Thank you, in advance, for your generous donations! (Note: If you know a family in the PSE community who might need assistance anytime during the year, please let me know. We do our best to help support students in need.) Granola Bar Drive!!!!! Students and parents of PSE, the 5th grade is in charge of our next service project which is a granola bar drive. If you want to help, send in any type of granola bar between Nov 18 - Nov 22. We are doing this to help kids in the Kansas City area. Thanks in advance for your help! The event will take place at Hilltop Conference Center from 6:30-8 p.m. and will featureBlue Valley Southwest teacher and physician Dr. Chris Jenson sharing the latest trends and scienti�cresearch.

Late Night at the Star....for November 22nd!!!!Prairie Star staff is excited to continue Late Night at the Star! Late Night at the Star classes are after-school enrichment programs offered to the students here at Prairie Star. These sessions, taught by thestaff, offer a variety of experiences to the Prairie Star students. With new and exciting classes, youwon’t want to miss out!!!!We will only be offering Friday night sessions, both fall and spring semester. Each Friday night classwill run from 4:00-7:00. To enroll in camps, please see the website link: https://prairiestarpto.membershiptoolkit.com/home Enrollment forms and payment need to be completed on the PTO website at by Thursday the daybefore camp begins. Pets, Pets, Pets (Abernathy, Brush, Cline) Do you love animals? Then this is the camp for you! Bring your favorite stuffed pet and join us foranimal themed games, crafts and snacks. We will end with a viewing of The Adventures of Milo andOtis. Holiday Cookies, Coding, and Crafts (Mastorakos, Bartram, Green, Rassette) Celebrate the holiday season with us and create some gifts for your family and friends! What doesyour dream cookie look like? Use the concepts of programming to design the perfect cookie. Then putyour design to the test. Each students will also be decorating their own cookie. Snacks and drinks willbe provided. Tie Dye Pillow part 2 (Kavanagh) ***this class is a two part class to allow for drying time. Students who are interested in the class mustsign up for both part one and two! Part 11/8 and Part 2 11/22 Students will be tie dying fabric, making tassels, sewing and stu�ng their very own pillow! Grades 2-5only
