PATH Data Jam

• 1st to get open data from Port Authority of NY/NJ.

• 8 projects resulted

• Impacted Port Authority leadership (They begin hosting hackathons and made data more open and readily available.)

• Data resulted in it being used at NYC & NJ college Data Science courses.

• 1900 students spent time coding.

• Engaged Jessica Alba and middle school students in a video conference.

• Spoke to 600 attending students from all over the world.

• Panel discussion webcasted live to 3 million youth globally.
