To all the people that were so stoked on my

first ‘zine, thanks for all the great hype and

i hope you enjoy my sophomore release of

PS118. Skating for the fun of it each and

everyday is what got this finished, weather its

driving an hour to el mirage, cruising the

tranny at the wedge with the wedgerats or

eating shit and burning on the ground at

tempe 3, we skate because we love it, even if

its in 118 degree heat, we pull out 2 water jugs

and sweat it out.

Thanks,

Whenever you skate Tempe skatepark you are sure to run into Greg. Besides the fact that he put out a full video part of bangers for CHAMPS in about 2 months, he just recently won the Transworld come up tour in Peoria and had his second baby boy.

I met Miles only about a few

hours before we shot these

photos of him. He met up

with us at a spot and was

set on going to this silver rail

downtown. Sure enough we

headed over there and he

went to work. The photo

doesnt really do justice to

how crazy this rail really is

with a large curve at the end

Miles is definitely a great

dude, amazing skater. Hope

to skate with him again soon

it was good times.

A big rule number 1 in Arizona, never fuck with the indian reservations. Rule number 2 in Arizona, NEVER fuck with the indian reservations. Xavier and I thought it would be a bright idea to test our luck, and sure enough the opportunity arose. A buddy of mine had just told me of this abandoned airport near the gila river- broken down B52 bombers and commercial jets from the 50s- it was a photo opp for the year.

We all hopped in the truck headed down to Queen Creek and did some trespassing. The walk there quickly turned into a completely different world. If we weren’t already living in a desert, we certainly knew now. I found a dead animal skull and threw it in my jacket as souvenir. Finally we got to the planes, and Xavier set out to climb up onto what was left of an old commercial jet.

The inside was sucked dry, almost nothing in it, so we shot a few photos of a flat ground trick or two, some portraits. The sun started to set so we decided to climb out, but were welcomed by 2 rez officers surrounding the barbed wire fence. We ended up with a civil citation, a visit to the courts and an empty camera of photos that day, but its one hell of a story.

Sure enough a security guard came along and we immediately thought we were fucked. As if it wasn’t already a day of firsts, he told us to quit being pussies and pointed down at his ripped up Osris D3’s. He grabs my board and does a few flat ground 180s. The dude was nice enough to let us come back whenever he was working to skate the factory, and showed us this pole gap for Zack to pop a 180 over.

Zack was one of the first skaters I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a few years back. Driving through the smelling farms of Chandler, we came across what we thought was an abandoned Waste factory. It was like the scene out of a movie, portions of the entire factory in pitch black, wires hanging from the ceiling with the electric still on, Graffitied walls and torn apart signs.

With the other magazine I work for part time, I cover everything from events to large scale concerts, and when PHXAM came around I was sure to not miss it. I had ran into Dashawn only a few times before the contest so I was hyped to watch some good skating go down.

He definitely has a great passion to skate, and With all the photos I took from the contest and the opp to throw any into a publication I capitalized with a great shot of Dashawn, a local, inverting over the keyhole at D-west. Since then i ran into him at tempe and tagged along to shoot this photo of a crook at Getz school

Chase probably has one of the craziest mindsets I’ve

ever seen when it comes to skating. Not only is this

drop he’s doing a crazy thing, he also just put out a

part in “Champs” a video by Connor Howitt and just

started skating for utility board shop.

few times, but if you havent checked out his

skating your a mad man. He recently just put

out a part in Diego Meeks “ I CAN SEE YOUR

SOCKS” . Besides the video being very well

filmed, you should definitely take a look see.

Watching Chris skate is like listening to Volume 4, or some type of

punk rock. He’s definitely a rad dude, from what I remember he used to

live in Illinois always killin it. I was lucky enough to get a quick photo of

him lipsliding this whole ledge after a night of partying.

Where the Pools are as dry as the martinis the 50+ year old cougars are sipping down at Va Bene. The valley

surrounds the stuck up kids with plenty of mountain mansions for their parties and overly priced drugs. I grew up here

with Matt through the majority of high school, and those pools never went unnoticed. I can honestly say the kid rips,

always jumping a fence to skate a pool, or this full pipe in a construction yard.
