THE YOUNG MARINES IS A YOUTH EDUCATIONAND SERVICE PROGRAM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS,

AGES 8 THROUGH COMPLETION OF HIGH

SCHOOL. THE YOUNG MARINES PROMOTES THE

The Young Marines is a program that focuses on Drug Demand

Reduction, but also provides a mixture of exciting events,

activities, training, encampments, and other developmental

programs. Our unit meets every Saturday morning for 4 hours, in

addition to our various events that are scheduled. We offer morethan any other youth program, due to our discipline based youth

development system. We are not a "Boot Camp" program, but

more a program to build off of your child's goals and motivation.

We build confidence and personal courage by exercising

leadership and speaking skills. We are not a recruiting tool forthe United States Marine Corps. We are a youth program that is

sponsored by the Marine Corps League. Your child can be a part

of the most outstanding leadership programs, travel to historical

sites, and gain the self-confidence to achieve success. Building

our Young Marines' skills and confidence are building the steps toAmerica's future. If you're looking for the perfect youth program

SUPPLIES/UNIFORMS Guidebooks are important, should be regular

study material of all YMs/Recruits

Gear is being listed and ordered today

PRYM Starting Fee Breakdown

Uniforms are ordered and will be here ready to

issue by T-12.

Recruits must have White T-Shirt & GraySweatshirt (both marked front and back), Gray

Sweatpants, and Running Shoes.

RECRUIT GRADUATION

THE FOLLOWING IS SECRET INFORMATION,

FOR PARENTS ONLY.

Recruit Graduation Our FTX/15 mile hike,

held just before graduation on August 7-8

(Saturday-Sunday), on Poudre River Trail.

Recruits think it is FTX. That is all the info that

they need. This is a challenge, therefore mustbe unknown to all recruits. Parents need to plan

all arrangements for the event and ceremony,

Sunday afternoon (ie-food, drinks, etc.)

DONATIONS/GRANTS

We are a not-for-profit ~501(c)3~ organization

CO Armagost is ALWAYS looking for rewards

for our Young Marines to earn by working hard

for the unit (ie-California Trip, Ropes Course,

various training, dress uniforms, etc).

Please ask for letters or grant requests from

PRYM if you know of any funds/donations

available from donating agencies/business.
