Things we remember:
Test results are a whole school responsibility
Test results are not a commentary or reflection on a specific grade group or program
We support each other through solid analysis and plan well considered teaching strategies that effect positive change for student learning
Change occurs in small steps, in context, over time
WE DO OUR LEARNING TOGETHER
What have we done organizationally?
We have been diligent about reducing our class sizes
We have scheduled to provide teacher time for student assessment, team planning and strategizing, and teacher supports in program accommodation.
We mark the writing portion of the Language Arts exam
What have we already done?
We maintain a learning strategist (Special Ed., ESL, and Resource) for student and teacher support.
We maintain expertise and scheduling for Early Literacy and Teacher Librarian (.5 FTE)
We maintain a full time music specialist We maintain artist in residence programs AISI Support Learning Leaders
