DescriptionThe Button Seal Process Adapter is a sensor accessorythat allows for the installation of a 1/2-20 UNF (UnifiedNational Fine thread) melt pressure sensor into a button sealstyle process mounting port. The sensor can be supplied byDynisco or any other manufacturer.
Each Button Seal Process Adapter is made to order depend-ing on the provided process mounting port sizing. Flangeattachments are available as one piece solid construction,threaded, or threaded & welded. Flange design is applicationspecific and dependent on the process sizing needs of diam-eter, thickness, bolt-hole diameter, mounting bolt pattern.Pricing and production time is also application dependent.
Material of construction of the adaptor body and flange isstandard 17-4 Stainless Steel (17-4 PH SST), UNS S17400,options are available. The external gasket seal is pressuredependant and can be 303 Stainless Steel, Parkerized CarbonSteel, Aluminum 6061, Hastelloy, or other material.
