Angel Tree
December 1 - December 18
The Women’s Ministries have put up an angel tree in the fellowship hall. This year we will be collecting items for the Crisis Pregnancy Center
along with items for some families within our church. If you are able, take a tag, or two, and write your name on the list by the tree next to the tag # you choose. Please return your gift wrapped (or gift bag) and attach the tag to the gift. Thank you for helping us to bless others this holiday. We need all gifts brought to the church by December 18th, no later please.
Women’s Ministries Christmas Dinner
December 3 at Reginella Italian
Meet at Reginella’s located at 1808 S. York Rd, Gastonia. Meals range from $10-15, they have pizza, calzones, and sandwiches as well. Let Tammy know if you are coming by Dec. 1st so we can make reservations by Dec. 2nd.
Providence Family Christmas Party
December 8 @ 5:00 pm at the church
Everyone is invited, including the kids! Bring your favorite appetizer or dessert and of course we’ll need beverages as well. If you would like to join in on our crazy gift game, bring an item you have at your
home that you do not want or need. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure! Bring a ‘gift’ for each participant that would like to play. Handmade gifts are nice too, use your imagination! Hope to see you all there! It’s always a great time! Good food, fellowship, and fun!

Praise God! Jason & Denise Ford (Ford’s son/wife) delivered a healthy baby boy on Nov. 18! Lynn & Gustavo Lopez* – moving along in the adoption process! Church Yard Sale raised $800! God is good! Crystal Parker (Lynn Lopez’s sister) has received a new kidney! Surgery went well and kidney is functioning! We have been praying for Crystal for over 3 years! New Requests/Updates Kendra Blalock (Karen Branagan’s niece) baby due early December, pray for a healthy delivery for Kendra and her baby girl! Laura Faulkner* - pray for strength and healing Pat & Jim Ford* – Jim will meet with his heart dr soon, tests showed concerns, Pat has an appt at Wake Forest in December for further evaluation Josiah (Patti Anderson’s nephew) 15 yrs old, need prayer as well as his parents Kristi and Keith, Josiah is going through some difficult times Leigh Family - Lynn’s uncle Bob recently passed away and her other uncle, Glenn, has malignant spots on his lungs Carol Lewis* – has been transferred to White Oak Manor in Shelby, room 209 Kory & Amanda Martin (Tammy’s nephew) lost their newborn baby girl at birth Mike Muterspaw* – continues to struggle with dementia and Parkinsons Robin Rowell* – had a MRI in November, waiting for test results Turcio Family* – keep Mark, Carol, and Marcellino in prayer as they are miles apart during this transition Jamie Zaverton (friend of the Bassetts) baby due early December, pray for a healthy delivery for Jamie and her baby girl! Ongoing Prayer Requests Asher Ammons – 9 yrs old, brainstem glioma, pray for his heart & mind, many limi-tations, pray for wisdom in speaking encouragement to his heart Anderson Family* – healing of family relationships Mary Lewis Bryant (Hugh Bryant’s wife) daily strength and healing Teresa Coleman* – ongoing health concerns, pray for healing and strength Gratia Ford (Pat & Jim’s granddaughter) diagnosed with chronic fatigue with deconditioning and autonomic dysfunction, continues to have issues Claire Hoogmoed* – daily strength and healing Mike Percival (parents of Erin’s friend) stage 4 esophageal cancer, not doing well
