[j] this notion focuses especially on the location based imagery that kept coming up. it considers rosedales position as a centralhub with easy accessibility to anywhere you want to go, as well as its character of being utilitarian and unique. we really enjoyedheidis mention of the idea of urban pioneers, and wanted to bring attention to their reputation as community leaders. all of these ideas came together in a ash of visual pun with the idea of a compass rose, and tagline suggestions that allow rosedale tolead the wa .

[c] during our feedback session, we found that our focus group responded positively to our applications of bright, invitingcolors to represent the vibrancy of the community. they also expressed their desire to adopt a mark that wouldnt feel tootraditional or too modernsomething that would make residents of all ages feel proud to be a part of rosedale. and thats reallythe foundation of the whole system, to restore identity and pride to a community looking to make its mark in a city thats rapidlyevolvin in a new centur .
