Important information about our Coverage:

• Coverage must be purchased within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the device.

Coverage does not include:• Loss or damage caused by negligence, deliberate

abuse or destruction.

• Device covers, chargers, keyboards, external components not part of the original unit, software or other accessories.

Coverage is extended for the following:

• Broken glass screen

• Charger port failure

• Theft

• Broken LED/LCD displays

• Accidental damage

• Power surge, fire and flood

• Water damage

• Loss

• Vandalism

• Touchscreen failure

• Electrical failures

Claims Process:

• In the case of a claim, insured shall visit U-PIC’s

website, www.SchoolDeviceCoverage.com,

navigate to the claims section and enter the

proper login information that was created

at the time the coverage was purchased.

Complete the online claim filing form and

submit online. Turn your Chromebook with

a copy of the completed form to the Site

Technology Manager at your school. The Site

Technology Manager will return your repaired

Chromebook to your AVID teacher. A signed

statement is required for claims for loss or theft.

• There is no limit to the number of claims filed

during the policy term.

• Stolen devices will follow the same claims

procedure with the exception that a police

report will need to be filed within five (5) days

of the occurrence, with a copy provided to

U-PIC when the claim is filed. Failure to file a

police report within 5 days of the device being

stolen will result in denial of the claim.
