SIZE OF LOGOSWe print logos to the Football Association recommended size. However in some cases where the style of the logo is too wide it may not be possible to print to the maximum size allowed. It may also not be possible to print full sized logos on smaller sizes of jerseys 24/26 to 32/34. On an order which contains large and small jerseys we will adjust the size of logo to suit all sizes supplied.

YOUR ARTWORK SUPPLIEDAs most of our customers designs require redrawing in vector format (a file format that has no loss of resolution when increasing or decreasing size) before printing, the quality and type of artwork supplied initially can have great bearing on the accuracy of the reproduction and the speed of processing your order. If you send us your artwork on disk, ensure that the work is saved in a PC drawing package ideally Illustrator. Please ensure that all text is converted to paths/curves. This would aid us greatly in processing your order more efficiently.

ARTWORK CHARGESFor artwork supplied in the above formats we do not place an artwork charge (set-up charge still applies). If any artwork is supplied in stationary format or another digital format other than mentioned above such as JPG, BMP, TIF etc an hourly artwork fee will be charged for turning the supplied artwork into a usable format for our process.

IMPORTANT ORDER CHECKLIST FOR CUSTOM PRINTING Type of printing - Stretchprint or Directprint. Colour(s) of printing on garments, bags etc. Colour(s) of printing on goalkeeper clothing. There may be an artwork charge if the quality is not suitable for reproduction. Designs are enlarged or reduced to the maximum size permitted by F.A. regulations unless otherwise specified.

125 CUSTOMISATION

GARMENT AFTERCARETaking care of your garment and washing adviceProstar garments are made using high quality materials under strict quality control conditions. It should be noted that most fabrics discolour due to staining by substances such as mud and grass which may not be entirely removed by washing. We recommend removing as much mud from the garment as possible before soaking/washing. Follow detergent manufacturers instructions particularly with powders/liquids designed for heavy stains. Avoid products containing chlorine bleach that may damage fabrics, trims and decoratives. Soaking garments in water and detergent as soon as possible can reduce discolouration. Use at least an equal amount of water by volume to that of the garments being soaked/washed. Make sure all parts are fully immersed. Pale garments such as White, Yellow, Sky and Tangerine may require more attention and the use of prewash soakers will assist in the removal of stains. Do not overfill the washing machine with garments since if the ratio of water to garments is too small, dirt can easily be re-deposited. This can stain all the garments grey. We do not recommend fabric conditioners on jerseys and shorts which may cause a build up of film on fibres. This can prevent the washing process from penetrating filaments and dislodging dirt. However, socks will benefit from fabric conditioners and softeners. Prostar will not accept liability for discolouration or damage to garments which is attributable to staining caused by elements foreign to the materials used in manufacture.

Customising your garmentPlease check your order carefully before printing/embroidery as Prostar are unable to exchange goods after customisation. Prostar will not accept responsibility for goods incorrectly supplied which are then printed or embroidered nor for goods incorrectly printed or embroidered by sources other than Prostar Sports Ltd. Many Prostar garments are manufactured using high quality sublimation print processes. Only trained operators should carry out any further process involving inks or heat. Prostar is unable to offer advice on the application of decorative products other than those it supplies and will not accept liability for any damage and/or discolouration attributable to decorative products applied by others.

Heat applied logos / branding Do not exceed contact temperature of 160C and 20 seconds dwell time since fabrics may shrink and distort. Use a suitable clean, unused protective layer to prevent dyes reprinting accidentally on other areas Always keep surfaces free from dirt Ensure zip components are not trapped between press surfaces

Screenprinting Protect from heat any fabric that is already printed to prevent transfer of dyes between fabric surfaces During the process do not allow newly printed fabric areas to touch other parts of the garment Maximum curing ambient temperature 160C

Embroidering We recommend using a needle size 70 to avoid splitting fibres
