A Charitable Trust "Oshwal Education Trust" was established and formally registered on 14th
January 1986 in order to provide educational facilities to the students of Jamnagar, with English Medium.
One educational institution after another came up in quick succession.

Oshwal Education Tryst has been the 'Brain child' of Shri Ramniklal K. Shah, Managing Trustee,
under whose able leadership the trust has matured into a complete educational needs provider. His untiring
zeal has been instrumental in starting various institute one after the other-all being managed aptly by
dedicated Trustees.
These centres of learning are the fruitful outcome of the creation engineered by the founders
through their untiring efforts. Several generations to come will remain indebted to the founders for this

Thank you for your interest in pursuing the B.C.AlP.G.D.CA Course at Smt. C. Z. M. Gosrani B.C.A. College and ShriL.G. Haria P.G.D.C.A. College.
The demand for men and women with specialised knowledge and recognised qualifications is greater now than ithas ever been. To satisfy this demand of the market, Oshwal Education Trust decided to take up this challenge andestablished "Shri G.H.Gosrani Commerce (Eng. Medium) a Shri D.D.Nagda B.B.A College" in June 1998, andsubsequently Smt. C. Z. M. Gosrani B.C.A. College during 2002-03 in Jamnagar. Our B.Com/BBA College is accreditedto the ICAI as well as ICSI New Delhi. During the year 2005-06 one more course of one year duration -Post GraduateDiploma In Computer Applications (PGDCA) has been commenced under B.CA College. During this academic year, weare planning to commence short term add-on courses as per the need of the time.
Oshwal Education Trust always believes in providing the best education to the students while maintaining highcultural values. Our vision is to develop these colleges into excellent centre for commerce, management and computereducation. The mission of commerce and management course is to prepare young men and women for challengingopportunities in the competitive business environment.
During the last 14 years i.e. 1998-99 to 2011-2012, these colleges have gained reputation of premier Commerce,Management and Computer Education Centre as is evident from the increasing number of students who joined B.Com.,B.B.Aand B.C.A Courses. Coming up of these colleges has specifically benefitted female students who can not afford to goout of Jamnagar.
By starting AICTE approved M.B.A Programme under "Shri Jaysukhlal Vadhar Institute of ManagementStudies a Shri Bipin T. Vadhar College of Management" during the Academic Year 2000-01, Oshwal Education Trustprovides quality education in Management for students of Jamnagar. The college building has been extended by one morefloor equipped with most modern facilities. The dream of fulfilling need of imparting quality education in the field ofInformation Technolgy has come true by comrnencinq AICTE approved M.C.A.Program under "Shri Keshavji BharmalSumaria MCA College" in Jamnagar during the year 2008.
During the academic year 2006-2007, the B.Com.l BBA college has been accredited with B**** by NationalAssessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission(UGC). The BCAcoliege is planning to volunteerfor NAACAccreditation this year.
We are very happy to welcome you to our new college which has all facilities like comfortable class rooms with roofmounted multi-media projector and internet connection, a flourished fully computerized library with inflibnet-SOUL andconference hall, sports complex, computer labs with internet connection and individuallD, gymnasium, canteen and a verypleasant atmosphere.

Thecollege is managed by Oshwal _~"Education Trust. It is a SELFFINANCED college and Oshwal Education Trust has decided not to seek any financial assistance fromthe Gujarat Government. The college, in a short span of time, have established their presence inthe Saurashtra region of Gujarat. The college is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot.

In Teaching-Learning process special emphasis is laid on impartingleadership and interpersonal skills to the students. In order to provide thestudents with maximum knowledge and enable them to grow knowing thedynamism of the world around, the teachers are engaged in capacity buildingfor multimedia rich e-content development as per CEC-UGC standards forevery subjects for the benefit of the students. The college commencedactivities of SCOPE in order to improve students' proficiency in English.
MENTOR GROUPS: One of the innovative academic activitycommenced by the college this year is imparting education through MentorGroups. The students are divided into groups with homogeneous attributes.Each group is allotted a Student Mentor under the guidance of a Fac ultyMentor. It is found that imparting knowledge informally through mentor groupsin different venues reduces the stress on account of formal set up oftraditional class room.
SANDHAN : BISAG: Sandhan initiative is an online educationalprogramme promoted by the Higher Education Department of Government ofGujarat and followed up by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. TheCollege gives special care to inform students time to time the BISAG TimeTable for the subjects concerned so that they can take full advantage of theprogramme. The college uploads the time table in the College Web Site butinform the students through college notice boards. In order to promote andpropagate the Sandhan initiative, the college has its own StudentsAmbassadors.

Keeping in view the all-around development of the students, the college organizes the followingactivities every year. An average of not less than 200 events of co-curricular and extra curricularactivities were organized in the college during the course of an academic year.

Despite of providing students platform with all these above type of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, theacademic result of the SCA remains between 85% to 93% and PGDCA 70%.
PARENT-TEACHERS' MEET : The college organises Parent-Teachers' meet for mutual interactionbetween parents and teachers and to sort out the problems faced by the students.
TRANSPORTATION : For the convenience of the students, the college provides for bus facility to andfrom city at concession rate. Bus fee is refundable only in case of cancellation of admission. afterdeducting charges for using the bus till the date of cancellation of admission. Bus fee can be remittedeither for a semester or for an year.
ACCOMMODATION : The quality of student accommodation is an essential ingredient in academic successand enjoyment of student life. The institute has made arrangement for lodging and boarding of outstationstudents. Befitting the standards of the students in a professional education program, the institute has evolved asystem to provide guaranteed accommodation on the basis of their confirmed request. All the residents areprovided furnished accommodation. Halls of residence are equipped with water coolers, solar heating systemand water pelletier's.

In order to establish a healthy educational atmosphere and to achieve a disciplined way of lifeall students must follow the following rules strictly.1. A studious atmosphere must prevail in the class rooms as well as in the premisses of the
college. .
2. Student will respect the teachers and staff and they will show respect to the authoritiesconcerned when they visit other colleges / institutions for competitions and other activities etc.and they must refrain from any action that disturbs order.
3. Unnecessary roaming about, wasting time, making unwanted comments or causing chaos in thecollege premises must be avoided at any cost.
4. Tobacco, Pan and other drugs are totally banned in the premises and the persons who areresorting to such practices will face immediate dismissal.
5. No student without the authorisation of the Principal may claim to represent the college at anyorganisation of students, or at any political or civic organisations whatsoever.
6. All students will treat the College Property with care and consideration. They will not make anymarks on the furniture or on the walls. Any damage or destruction of the College property will bepunishable individually and collectively.
7. The identity card must be brought to the College every day and must be presented for inspectionas and when required.
8. Visitors are not allowed to meet the students directly in the class rooms. The visitors will contactthe college office and the College office will arrange for the meeting.
9. Students who have got legitimate grievances can present them to the Principal personally. Anyother modes of protest must be strictly avoided.
10. Students who are guilty of serious misconduct or whose presence in the College is detrimental tothe order and discipline in the premises are liable to be expelled.
11. Every student has to wear strictly the college Identity Card around the neck for entering in to thecollege campus.
12. Bringing and using mobile phones inside the college campus is strictly prohibited.Candidate seeking admission to various courses in this college must give an undertaking,counter signed by their parent/guardian, before the principal stating that they will leave thecollege voluntarily in case of violation of any of the above rules and regulations.
ATTENDANCEAs regular attendance is an important element for successful college work, nobody should absentoneself from class. 75% attendance is compulsory in both terms to appear for the Finalexamination. A prolonged absence without approval may result into dismissal from the college.
1. Regular attendance is a must in this college. Candidates seeking admission to various coursesmust abide by this rule and any violation of this rule will invite stern action.
2. The record of presence will be taken at the beginning of each period.3. Absence even for one period or late reporting for the lectures will be considered as the absence
for the whole day.4. Students who are absent for the first week of the term shall be considered to have left the
college, unless they have the permission from the Principal.5. Student may take leave only for illness and other genuine reasons after submitting leave
application in writing to the Principal with necessary supporting documents ..6. Students who are irregular will have to explain the reasons to the Principal and if they are not
found satisfactory , they will have to leave the college in the following term.7. Permission to appear for the University Examination will be granted to the students only as per
the University rule8. THE SECOND SEMESTER WILL NOT BE GRANTED FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE
NOT SECURED MINIMUM REQUIRED ATTENDANCE DURING FIRST SEMESTER.9. The grace of class room attendance in case of those who are pursuing for Professional Courses
like CA, CS etc. will be considered by the Board of Trustees/Management Committee as andwhen required.
INTERNAL EXAMINATIONSStudent's Performance is evaluated from time to time through Assignments, MCQs, Seminars,
Presentations and Internal Exams. The college conducts one internal and one preliminary exam in eachsemester. Internal exam is of one and a half hours duration and of 50 marks of each paper.Preliminary exam is of two and half hours duration and of 70 marks of each paper. One must notremain absent in any examination, which will act as the immediate preparation for the Universityexaminations.
The attendance in all thesel examinations is compulsory. Students who exempt themselves fromthe examinations will have to face- serious disciplinary action.
Students should not resort to any unfair means in the examinations. Those who are caughtdoing so will be prohibited from the examinations hall and will be refused admission in the ensuingyear.COMPUTER LAB
The college has three well equipped computer labs which remains open from 8:00 am to 6:00pm. All the computers are network connected. Printer facilities are also provided to the students. Fulltime presence of dedicated staff and students make our computer lab alive. The computers arenetworked with broad band internet facility.
LIBRARYThe college library houses a wide range of books on various subjects prescribed in the syllabus
of Saurashtra University. Books, Newspapers and Periodicals are available for reference purposewhilst studying in the college and students are encouraged to use college library for self learning.Besides this books on General awareness, Books on competitive examinations, Books on Entrancetests etc. are available in our library for students use. Each year new books are added to the libraryas per the requirement of the students. Keeping in view of the general literary aptitude of the studentsthe college provides books on Gujarati, Hindi and English literature.• The library will remain open from 8.00 a.m. To 6.00 p.m. on all working days and
study days.• Students are allowed to enter the library only on presentation of their identity card at

ADMISSION PROCEDURE - FOR F. Y. B. C. A COURSES1. For admission to F.Y. B.C.A& P.G.D.C.A.
As per Saurashtra University Circular No. Affi.l2/545/2012 Dated 25/04/2012 the admission process toFirst Year BCA as well as P.G.D.C.A Courses for all the colleges of the University will be carried out bySaurashtra University Central Admission Board (SUCAB). The eligibility for admission to F.Y. B.C.A. andP.G.D.C.A. will be as perthe decisions of the SUCAB.(If, in case, the colleges are given permission to carry out admission directly the admission will be grantedon First Come First Served basis for the students from English Medium Schools with 60% andabove marks and for the students from Gujarati Medium Schools with 70% and above marks. Forthe students with marks lesser than that stated above , admission will be granted on merit basedRank Mark System in which percentage weight will be given to students on the grounds ofstudents from the school managed by parent trust, English as medium of instruction at Schoollevel, National level participation in sports, NCC, NSS etc. Weight will also be given to thestudents from the school managed by parent trust. The percentage weight to be given to theabove will be decided by the Parent Trust from time to time.)

3. Candidates, who are qranted admission will have to pay the fees in Co. Co. Bank, UdyognagarBranch, Jamnagar within the given time limit. In case of cancellation of admission within onemonth of date of remittance of fee, 50% of fee will be refunded. No refund of fees will be given ifadmission is canceled after one month. After the payment of fees, the students should preservethe fee-card for future reference. Absence with or without leave from the college shall not be anexcuse for non payment of fees on the prescribed date.
4. The caution deposit will be refunded to the students who are completing three years of study onlyduring the month of August of the year of completion of their study. For others who arediscontinuing their study in the college, caution deposit will be refunded within one month of the

GTU Colleges), M.Sc(I.TJC.S/C.A.), M.C.A. (GTU Colleges) and PGDCA colleges. Itis the most powerful way to make efforts to be the best ofourselves.

It lets us to be creative,productive and lets us learn things that couldn't be learnedbefore, and so in a sense it is all about potential. Invoke 2012 A State Level Technical Fiesta was held inassociation with JVIMS College on the 10th March, 2012. In thisevent there were about 30 Colleges and 300 Studentsparticipating in the various events. This event was organized inassociation with the Computer Society of India as well as GujaratTechnological University.
The event was organized in two tracks: U.G and P.G. which
