Philippine House of Representative Edgar R. Erice has proposed an amendment to Section 20 of the Clean Air Act of 1999. In the amendment, Rep. Erice proposes the utilization of incineration as a means to "effectively and efficiently" manage municipal, biomedical and hazardous wastes.Health Care Without Harm Asia together with other civil Society groups under the Ecowaste Coalition will be presenting their opposition to the House Bill on December 4, 2013 at 1.30 in the afternoon.
