BANGKOK, 18 NOVEMBER 2003

ACCEPTANCE OF AMENDMENTS TO ANNEx I OF THE AGREEMENT'

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary and withreference to depositary notification C.N.89.2006.TREATlES-3 of2 February 2006 concerning theamendments proposed by Bhutan and Uzbekistan to Annex I of the above Agreement, communicatesthe following:

Within the period of six months following the date of the above depositary notification, noneof the Contracting Parties to the Agreement expressed an objection. Therefore, in accordance withparagraph 5 of the article 9, the proposed amendments are deemed to be accepted.

Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 6 of article 9, the amendments to the Agreement willenter into force for all Contracting Parties three (3) months after the date of this notification, ie., on3 November 2006.

CORRECTIONS TO THE AUTHENTIC ENGLISH AND CHINESE TEXTS

OF ANNEX I TO THE AGREEMENT!

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary,communicates the following:

By 23 April 2006, the date on which the period specified for the notification of objection tothe proposed corrections expired, no objection had been notified to the Secretary-General.

Consequently, the Secretary-General has effected the required corrections to the authenticEnglish and Chinese texts of Annex I to the Agreement. The corresponding proces-verbal ofrectification is transmitted herewith.
