PRE-HOSPITAL CARE AND PRIVATE MEDICAL EVACUATION

SERVICE

Whenever or wherever, a person or group of people could become victims

in an emergency event . When emergency event occurs, victims could suffer

serious injury, even death. These unfavorable situations could happen to friends,

co-workers, relatives, or strangers.

In Indonesia, pre-hospital care (Re:ambulance) is commonly performed by

nurse. The majority of ambulance services in Indonesia are hospital-based, where

the ambulance service is entirely dependent on funding and available resources

owned by hospitals. Most commonly the crew consists of nurse and driver. Only in

some special cases, doctor is involved to perform necessary procedure based on

his basic competencies.

As comparison, in most developed countries the function of nurses in pre-

hospital setting is more common in some areas with limited EMS infrastructure. In

some European countries such as France and Italy , which do not recognize the

existence of paramedics, also put nurses to perform rescue at the level of

Advanced Life Support. The nurses are working on direct supervision of a doctor

or independently on specific cases .

Definition of an emergency incident is clearly not intentional. Generally, it

occurs suddenly and without immediate help, it could result in death. People who

handle accident victims are medical personnel who do not always on the scene.

Most of the time, it may take several hours for the arrival of paramedics.

Then refer to some of the things mentioned above, First Care evacuation

team and medical transportation consisting of well-trained and certified emergency

ambulance paramedics are ready to give fast, accurate, secure, and coordinated

first aid to the victims, while making the referral procedure to health facilities in

accordance with the emergency-related condition occurred at that time .

With the efforts and abilities of handling emergency conditions performed

by our paramedics team, we are ready to provide a high standard medical

evacuation service. Therefore the risk of death and disability due to emergency

events could be minimized. Moreover, we would like to serve as a competent

alternative in cases where related facilities are unable to attain the victims.

First Care Clinic and Ambulance Service has one medical clinic and

ambulance units with crews that are competent and trained to handle

emergencies consisting of doctors and nurses with 24 hours 7 days a

week service.

D. Available Services

1. Emergency evacuation service, pre-hospital care, and home

care

2. 24-hour emergency call

3. Referral transport from hospital to hospital

4. Patient transport to clinics and doctor practices

5. Patient transport to other supporting check ups and alternative

therapies

6. Referral patient escort and evacuation for domestic and

international hospitals

7. Emergency medical standby for sport events, music concerts,

religious events, and other injury-risk activities

8. Facilitator for health seminars and emergency skills training

E. Fee and Payment Term

For evacuation from Juanda Airport Surabaya to Premier Hospital

Surabaya, proposed rates are as below.

Standby fee : Rp. 10,000,000 per month

Evacuation rates : Rp. 1,110,000 (without a doctor)*

Rp. 1,460,000 (with a doctor)*

* Rate includes the cost of entry permits of Juanda aprons, cancellation

fees would be charged according to expenses incurred at that time

For some particular cases that may require additional equipments and

medical personnel , proposed rates are as below.

1. Defibrillator : Rp. 600,000

2. Incubator : Rp. 75,000

3. Syringe Pump : Rp. 100,000 per hour

4. Additional Paramedic : Rp. 100,000 per person

E.T.A. ( Estimate Time Arrival ) = 1 hour

Payment terms will be further communicated between parties: First

Care Ambulance Service and P.T. Santos.
