ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to know the perception of parents, teachers and students in the junior and senior high school program particularly in 2 private high school, San Jose Academy and Diliman Preparatory School, and 2 public high school, Commonwealth High school and Occidental Mindoro State College.The results indicated that most of the respondents is against in the said program

Statement of the problem

This study seeks to determine the perception of parents on the proposed Junior and Senior

high program in secondary education. Specifically, it seeks to answer the following queries:

Research methodology

To be able to interpret and thoroughly discuss the perception of parents on the proposed

junior and senior high school, the researchers used the Descriptive methodology.

Descriptive Studies is used to observe, describe and document aspects of a situation as it

naturally occurs and sometimes to serve as a starting point for hypothesis generation or theory

development.(Polit,2008)

The researchers were interested in parent’s perception when Junior and Senior high

program is implemented. The study aimed describe the advantages and disadvantages of the

proposed Junior and Senior high program, their perceptions on implementation of Junior and

Senior high.
