PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

As a Certified Public Accountant with knowledge that stretches across a multitude of industries

from commercial real estate to the stock exchange, Charlie Meeks strives to remove the stress

from the decision-making process for his customers. The financial acumen he has acquired over

his three decades as a CPA lends itself to strategic navigation in an otherwise complex world of

the commercial property market, allowing businesses to continue their forward momentum into

their next venture and location.

Since obtaining a CPA license in 1984, Charlie has worked for firms that are both locally and

internationally based, serving as a partner with the national firm BDO USA and operating two of

his own that he founded and later sold. This foundation in financial services has additionally

given him expertise in contract negotiations and due-diligence processes.

Whether customers are purchasing or selling commercial property for the first or fiftieth time,

Charlie prides himself on his ability to guide the process effectively and efficiently, honing in on

goals, finding properties that ultimately suit the customer’s needs now and as they grow, and

presenting impactful marketing strategies utilizing the most up-to-date platforms, including

CoStar, CREXi, Catalyst, RPR, MLS and Buildout.

Charlie served in the Army under the 101st Airborne for three years, where he earned the rank

of Specialist Fifth Class. He holds a B.S.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida

and is a member of an array of industry organizations, including the American Institute of

Certified Public Accountants, Gulf Coast Builders Exchange, Rotary Club of Tampa and a Board

of Fellow at the University of Tampa. Outside of the office, he is an avid golfer and fisherman.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, being involved at his church, cycling and

working out – anything that keeps him active and engaged within his community.
