Steps for Handling the Microscope

1. Carry the microscope by the arm and the support base if you can.

2. Ensure that the low power objective lens is in place and the stage is completely lowered. Turn on.

5. Using the coarse adjustment knob, focus the object. Centre the object in the field of view.

6. Using the fine adjustment knob, focus the object (you want the object focused on low power before switching to medium power).
