INTRODUCTION

Promotions Notification Pro extension for Magento 2 helps notify and keep your visitors,

customers informed about latest news, announcements, promotions, subscription, new

offers, discount, deals or to educate about new updates and much more. You can set your

notification in Bar in Top/Bottom and also display using Popup with many configuration

options.

FEATURES

Display notification in Bar (Top/Bottom) and Popup.

Display notification in categories, product and CMS pages.

Display notification for specific time duration and also set notification in advance

Able to see preview of notification in admin.

Supported multi store view and customer groups.

Option for display only one or multiple notifications.

Display notification via sort order or random order.

By using short code display specific notification on specific page.






MANAGE NOTIFICATIONS

Go to admin → MARKETING → Promotions → MageBees Manage Notifications

Click on “Add New Notification. You will get following screen.






General:

Notification Title: You can specify title or name of your Notification.






Notification Content: You can add your notification content in editor with formatting options. You can also set widget, block code or images from here.

Background Color: You can set notification background color.

Display Notification in: You can choose display notification in Bar/Popup.

From Date: Set start date time of notification.

To Date: Set end date time of notification.

Status: Choose your notification status => Enable/Disable.

Sort Order: Set sort order of your notification. If your notification display order is high from

other notification then that notification display first.

Store View: Choose store view in which you want to display notification.

Customer Groups: Select customer group in which you want to display notification.

Display on Pages:

Visible In: You can select your CMS pages in which you want to display notification.

Visible in Cart Page: If you select “Yes” then notification will display on cart page.






Display on Categories:

Visible In: Choose categories from list from which you want to display the notification.

Display on Products:

Select products from given list for display notification in product page.

After saving data you will find new button for “Preview” and new tab “Use Code Inserts” for use this

notification to specific page using predefined code.






Use Code Inserts:

Template Tag: If you want to display notification in any CMS page, block at that time you can use this auto

generated code. Put this code in your required place. Here notification_id is auto generated based on

different notification.

XML Code: Suppose you want to use XML Tag auto generated code of notification, copy auto generated code

and put it in your theme XML layout file

paste this auto generated code at any part of your template files.

CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

Go to admin → STORES → Configuration → MAGEBEES → Promotions Notification

Pro

General:

Enable Promotions Notification Pro: You can able to enable or disable this module by

choosing Yes/No.

Enable Top link: You can able to enable or disable Promotions Notification Toplink for all

notification list.

Toplink Label: You can set custom text for toplink of notification list.

Notifications List Page Layout: You can set notification list page layout like 1 column, 2

columns left etc.






Notifications Settings for Bar:

Enable Promotions Notification Bar: You can able to enable or disabled bar notification for

choosing Yes/No.

One Time Notification per User: You can display notification bar only one time when page

load. After close browser and reopen this page than notification will display.

Display Notification By: You can display notification by sort order or randomly. If you choose

sort order then display notification according sort order that you enter in create notification.

If you select Random then display notification randomly.

Notification Position: You can select Top/Bottom position on frontend for display

notification bar.

Display Notification All or One: You can able to display only one or all notifications of bar

that you have created.

Display Notification Bar After: If you want to display notification after some time then you

can set value in seconds. If you put 0 then notification display without any delay.

Auto Close Bar: You can set auto close notification by choosing Yes/No. If you select yes

then enter value of seconds for close notification.






Bar Height: You can set height of bar in px and 0 for auto height.

Show in Mobile: Choose yes for display notification in mobile view.

Notifications Settings for Popup:

Enable Promotions Notification Popup: You can able to enable or disabled popup

notification for choosing Yes/No.

One Time Notification per User: You can display notification popup only one time when

FAQ

Q-1: I have Installed Promotions Notification Pro Extension. I got following error. “There has been an error processing your request”. “Please upgrade your database: Run bin/magento setup:upgrade”.

Run “php bin/magento setup:upgrade” command to your terminal or command

prompt. Please see installation steps for that.

Q-2: Date Range not working.

This is happen due to different time-zone in your magento store. If you want to set

same date and time then, please set same time-zone as original website having.

Q-3: I am getting error in console for cwsbxslider.js and cwsnotification.js not found, How to solve this problem?

Go to admin -> SYSTEM-> Cache Management.

Click on Flush JavaScript/Css Cache and Flush Static Files Cache Button Refresh the page in Frontend.
