  • Main Purpose of JOB JO

    • To reduce unemployment and poverty in remoteareas in Jordan.

    • Mission: Establishing five (5) Business ServiceNetwork Bureaus (BSNB) as training centers inJordanian Universities found in the cities ofKarak, Maan, Tafilla, Aqba and the model inJUST. These BSNBs will be supported and to bein contact with MPWH & GKM.

    • BSNBs will introduce training courses influencedby European experience.

  • Highlights

    • Target groups are graduate students and unemployedpeople looking for a way to requalify themselves for jobopportunities.

    • Courses will focus on personal and communication skills,advance job hunting skills, as well as interview skills inorder to make finding a job a couple of steps easier.

    • Trainers will be trained in Europe to focus in the methodsof teaching.

    • BSNBs will provide the necessary teaching and trainingservices and re-qualifying to increase the jobopportunities.

    • Job Jo also claims to have a special focus on women.

  • Objectives

    1. Establishment regional (BSNB) to promote employment in the provinces of Karak, Tafila, Maan, Aqaba and Irbid.

    2. Development of training courses in the BSNB based on the experience exchange with the EU.

    3-Producing training material

    4. Adapting job creation instruments to the needs of young people in remote areas.

    5. Supporting initiatives designed to enhance the employability of young people in the region

  • 6. Creating employment opportunities by supporting entrepreneurship.

    7. Lesson Learned from the European partners to include their cooperation with non‐academic partners.

    8. Establishing Network Service between the Universities, Industries, and Public and Private Sectors.

    9. Promote the relationship between the Jordanian Institutions with EUs.

    10. Students and staff from JO partners will receive training in EU

    Objectives

  • • (A)-Training Courses on Personal and Communication Skills Development. To set goals to maximize the potential. To identify the skills needed to enhance the employability prospects, raise the confidence, and lead to fulfilling higher quality life. Extensive focus will be on the communication skills.

    • (B)-Training on job preparation to equip unemployment people with advanced job hunting skills and career development. These experiences will provide the people with an insight into the tasks and duties of different industries.

    • (C)- Training course on interview skills and the opportunity to participate in Industry Awareness Experiences and to enhance of persuading

    • (D)-Global citizenship education and civil behaviour- Critical Thinking in Solving Problems and New Ideas

    • The project started 15-11-2019.

    • The project coordinator faces some problem invalidation the PIC numbers to some partners.The project team sorted out the validationnumber

    • Mutah team prepared for grant holder meetingthat held in Brussel 27-28/Jan/2019

    • Grant agreement signed between European Commission Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and MutahUniversity

    • (preparing, filling, signature, sending hard and soft copies)

  • Start up

    • Networking and communication with all partners

    • Preparing sub-agreement with all partners

    • Sign the sub agreement

    • Preparing all annexes, documents and templates

    • Sending the sub agreement and all annexes to the partners

    • Receiving the grant from EACEA (40% of the grant).
