“After my first inter-

action with AIESEC

at their Internation-

al Congress in India

in 2010, I am more

than ever convinced

of the value of our

partnership. Having

interacted with AIESEC alumni who are

thriving in the Deutsche Post DHL network,

I can see strong synergies between the

cultures and values of both organizations.

I am impressed with the energy, drive and

intelligence of “AIESECers”, and I recognize

that AIESEC is a valuable source of capable,

ambitious people who are passionate about

joining Deutsche Post DHL.”

AIESEC INTERN RETENTION IN DEUTSCHE POST DHL

“When I joined the Deutsche Post DHL/ AIESEC internship pro-

gram, my manager made it clear that this was not just another

typical intern role. I was an integral part of the team, tasked with

challenging work and taking great responsibility in managing de-

manding projects. This, along with the international and dynamic

business environment provided, made the internship a truly unique

and invaluable experience. I continue to appreciate the support,

networks and opportunities that were made available within the

company during and after my internship to help me start and build

my career. The prospect of an exciting, global and challenging career

full of possibilities where I could grow and see the value of my work

AIESEC INTERNS’ PROFILE

The AIESEC difference is reflected by the competitive background of the AIESEC interns.

No matter where they are heading or where they are coming from, we make sure that

their profile is just right for the job.

“ I have been working with interns provided through the AIESEC

organization for 5 years. My experiences are very positive; several

members of our team started as AIESEC students within the

Department. The typical AIESEC student is highly intelligent,

motivated, positive and very eager to invest in and learn from DHL.

I get the best results and most value when there is frequent and hon-

est feedback between me and the student in short weekly meetings

where I can give direction and the student can show me what he or

she has done and ask questions. I strongly support and recommend

the AIESEC program!”Peter AxelssonHead of GCS Europe

in developing young people with high

potential into globally-minded responsible

leaders.

Present in over 100 countries and territo-

ries and with over 60,000 members,

AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run

organization. Focused on providing a plat-

form for youth leadership development,

AIESEC offers young people the opportu-

nity to participate in international intern-

ships in a global learning environment

and experience leadership.

What makes AIESEC unique is the youth-

driven, impactful experience that it offers

to its members. AIESEC is run by young

people for young people, enabling a strong

experience for all its stakeholders.

partner organizations around the globe

who look to AIESEC to support the de-

velopment of youth and to access top tal-

ent through a global internship program.

organizations and communities. They

use the experience, skills and inspiration

AIESEC has offered them to be agents of

positive change within today’s society.

THE EXPERIENCE

Each year, over 13,000 AIESEC members

seize the challenging opportunity to live

and work in a foreign country in areas of

management, technology, education and

development.

To increase youth impact in the world,

AIESEC recognizes that society needs

leaders who are entrepreneurial, culturally

sensitive, socially responsible and take an

active part in their own learning. AIESEC

offers a holistic leadership development

experience to its members through the op-

portunity to take on leadership roles be-

fore or after their international internship.

AIESEC offers more than 10,000 leader-

ship roles every year, on a local, national,

regional and global scale, as well as train-

ings in soft skills and functional areas in

over 470 conferences and thousands of ac-

tivities every year.

“My experience with AIESEC has been very positive indeed because

of the high professionalism of the organization and its young talent.

AIESEC people are really talented individuals who learn extremely

fast; from the very beginning of their internship, they get involved in

our business, becoming reliable and valuable colleagues. This is why

I support the program.”
