fine-americas.com Promote bud differentiation, cell division, root induction and growth Crest is a plant biostimulant that can improve the germination of seed, plant emergence, root growth and seedling development. It contains three PGRs in proper ratios to aid in early plant growth and development. Crest integrates well into growers’ overall production programs, as it aids seed germination and early seedling growth, stimulates growth in nursery and greenhouse cuttings and helps transplants get a better start. It can also be used in newly planted and established shrubs, non-bearing ornamental trees, flowering plants and ornamentals to promote plant growth and vigor. Active Ingredient • 0.010 % Cytokinin (as Kinetin) • 0.005% Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) • 0.005% Gibberellic Acid (A3) Benefits • Reduce apical dominance • Promote bud differentiation, cell division, root induction and growth Use Apply Crest through watering programs or as foliar sprays/sprenches to reduce apical dominance and to promote bud differentiation, cell division, root induction and growth. Growers can also tank mix and apply with fertilizers to improve early season growth. (Always test tank mixes for compatibility and on a small group of plants before mixing large quantities.) Crest also provides an excellent follow-up treatment to Advocate, which initiates rooting. Once rooting initiates, applications of Crest help continue to promote growth of both shoots and roots in young herbaceous and woody plants. Application Guidelines Propagation: Can be used as a follow-up application to treatment of cuttings with Advocate. Once rooting is initiated, following application of Advocate, spray or mist cuttings with a solution of 1 fluid ounce Crest to 4 gallons of water at two- to four-week intervals. Transplanting: Add 1 fluid ounce Crest per 4 gallons of transplant solution (fertilizer-water). Use the necessary amount of solution to drench the root zone for that cropping situation. Then either apply a foliar spray or add through irrigation system at two- to four-week intervals. Production: To increase growth rate, improve quality and resilience of nursery and greenhouse crops, add 1 fluid ounce per 4 gallons (1 quart/128 gallons) of fertilizer or water solution and apply through the irrigation system or via foliar spray. For best results apply Crest with foliar nutrients, micronutrients, or secondary nutrient sprays such as calcium, iron, and zinc. crest ® Crops • Herbaceous annuals • Herbaceous perennials • Rose • Azalea • Rhododendron • Crepe myrtle • Shrubs and woody ornamentals • Other flowering and non- flowering shrubs Always read and follow label directions.
