Roy Hill Iron Ore Project goes live on ProjectConnect We are pleased to announce that the Roy Hill Iron Ore Project has been listed on ProjectConnect. The Roy Hill project will be a world-class iron ore mine based on a 2.3 billion tonne resource. The deposit is the last of the large low phosphorous ore bodies in Australia outside the control of the majors and is located 105km north-east of Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The project will consist of:

• Mining operation for 55Mtpa hematite iron ore;

• Crushing, screening and processing lump and fines products;

• Stockpiling and train loading;

• A 370km standard gauge, single line, dedicated heavy-haul railway from the mine site to Port Hedland;

• Port facility located at Port Hedland for receiving, stockpiling, screening;

• Exporting 55Mtpa (wet) of direct shipped hematite iron ore as lump and fines products; and

• An Automated Operations Centre in Perth. During construction, the workforce will peak at 3500 people and it will have an operational manning of over 1600 personnel. The project will create significant wealth for Australia through the generation of export revenue, employment creation and payment of royalties and taxes. Job Opportunity at ProjectConnect We currently have a vacancy for an experienced administration professional to join their team as a Administration Coordinator for ProjectConnect and REPS. The role will be to provide support to users of ProjectConnect and the Resources and Energy Projects Service (REPS); co-ordinate and assist in the regular production of the subscriber newsletters and publications, to provide administrative support and to assist with the development of commercial opportunities. Master Classes Schedule We had a tremendous response to the invitation for the first Online Master Class and I want to thank all those who attended the session. Despite a few teething problems, the session was a success and we will now hosting more of these sessions in the near future. We are in the process of compiling a class schedule (both in-person and online classes) and will be publishing the schedule by next week. I will be forwarding the schedule and details of how to book for these classes to you as soon as the details are finalised.
