• Imagine possible risks

• Plan for potential outcome

• Be prepared in the event of all outcomes

• Routinely test our plan in imagined but plausible scenarios

Prepare plans to mitigate problems

• Use test results to develop action plans

• Ask workers for opinions of safety

• Study other corporations safety evaluations

• Research real danger events and their outcomes

• Practice, practice, practice

• Remain vigilant
