WILSON SNG

BArch (Notts) DipArch (Oxpoly) APAM RIBA

Wilson received his architectural

education at the University of

Nottingham and Oxford

Polytechnic, UK. Upon

graduation, he worked in London

till end 1993 when he obtained his

registration with the Architects

Registration Board, UK. He

joined C’arch in 1994 and was

appointed a Director in 2000.

Wilson has considerable

experience leading many award-

winning projects of varying

complexity and scale. These

include Damai Suria, Iringan

Hijau, Belum Rainforest Resort

and sixceylon.

Wilson stands in awe of nature,

fascinated by how it develops an

inherent design intelligence in its

adaptations for survival and

procreation. He believes that a

parallel can be drawn with how

project constraints and challenges

provide opportunities for

“adaptations” to generate

innovative designs. This

appreciation, along with his

personal interests in painting,

music and ceramics, serve as

inspiration to his work at C’arch.

Wilson’s other involvement within the profession

include :

-Member of the PAM Strategic Planning workshop 1995.

-Presented a paper on the RIBA & SIA Strategic Plans at PAM’s Architect’s Convention

1997.

-External Critic, Yr 5 Architecture School, University of Malaya, 2009 -2011.

-Currently serves as External Critic, Yr 3 Architecture School, Taylor’s University.

C'arch architecture + design was founded in 1992. The core of the

firm is rooted in modern architecture and applying sustainable

principles. To achieve meaningful and quality work and they believe

in the importance of discovering the essence of a project. This will

inspire and organize the functions of a design brief. C’ arch

understand the significance of being able to identify, understand and

apply the many wishes and concerns that are woven into the

tapestry of a specific design brief to achieve reasonable results and

standard of work.
