WHO WE ARE
Pamukkale Municipality has been established in 2013 in the center of Denizli with
metropolitan municipality law as Denizli got metropolitan municipality. Our municipality
began active duty in 2014 with the local elections held in Turkey. Since established our
municipality has rapidly started to complete institutionalism with its important investments in
the city. In addition to investments our municipality gives attention to cultural actions with
local, national and international works. Our Municipality has already carried out 2 national and
2 international Projects in the city.
Pamukkale Travertines, Karahayıt and Thermal Springs are our Municipality’s and
cities most important natural attributes. As well as with 320 thousand population, our
municipality is the biggest town of Denizli.
Our main aim as Pamukkale Municipality is to improve quality of service. On the other
side, to accelerate the work of social and cultural Works and facilities like this for the people.
Our target group as Municipality is the people who are living in Denizli. We will carry
out of Erasmus+ program will be for disadvantaged young people, women, disabled people
and children to fold difference in their lives. Besides we want to carry out Works for economic
disadvantaged people to improve the welfare level of population in order to being a social state.
Therefore, our target group is youth, women, disabled people and economic disadvantaged
people.
WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES & PROJECTS WE DO
Our Municipality is the largest structure in the city that provides service to people with social
and cultural activities. The main planned activities are as follows:
Works for economically disadvantaged people
Cultural concerts, theaters and art activities for people living in the city
Change and Development programs for young people
Psychological Support at our Social Support and Coordination Center
Effective seminars and conferences at suitable times
Exchange programs of Erasmus+ and Strategic partnerships
Vocational training courses at various issues
Activities for women and children
Programs for disabled people
Seminars, meetings and conferences to develop decision making process of youth,
women and children
Common activities with all NGOs in the city
Various sportive activities
We aim to prominence voluntariness with Projects and Works. Especially, we are suitable
to carry out activities and programs for tourists coming to see Pamukkale. On the other side we
are preparing the suitable environment for international festivals and camps planned for the
coming years.

our Project “The Happy Guest Of Pamukkale” our goal is to prominence voluntariness between
ünivercity students.
All volunteers will have a short time EVS for 59 days with someone from other country. So,
each short time there will be 2 volunteers from different countries and in total 12 volunteers in 12
Months.
The main activity in this Project is English Speaking Lessons and Cultural Promotion lessons
with univercity students. Every volunteer will vork as a volunteer teacher with 200 different
univercity students. So , they will find a chance to learn about 200 different cultur and 200 different
way of life. İn every lesson , students will present their own cultural diffrence to our volunteers.
Predicted Main Activities:
• Voluntary Courses with Economically disadvantaged Univercity students aged between19-
25 youngsters

o Campaign Management
• Turkish Lessons
Our target on this project is to ensure the voluntariness of young people and to be the first
role model in the city by having international volunteers in our municipality.

Our target on this project is to ensure the voluntariness of young people and to be the first
role model in the city by having international volunteers in our municipality.
Accomudation Place: We have rented an apartment it is full of staff what volunteers need. And it is 5
min by walking to working area.
