Description: “Be a Solution” is a project which aims to raise awareness, in Albanian society, about corruption, its consequences and solutions. How every-one is part of the widespread issue of corruption and how everyone can

and should be part of the solution as well.

Job description of the interns:

The Trainee is responsible to promote the project and the external events.

The Trainee is responsible to organize and manage the "Drama Camp" and prepare for the final show.The trainee will be responsible for the organization of forums with different target groups to discuss on relevant topics related with corruption (AGORA).

The trainee will travel around Albania, record and produce a short documentary about the project and Albania.

The trainee is responsible to organize several external events in Albania.

Explanation of the activities Preparation Seminar During this week, AIESEC together with our specialist partners, will train the interns

for their work in the project. Also, the goal of this week is to prepare the interns to

integrate in the Albanian society and culture.

Raise awareness Activities These activities include interaction with the public to inform them about the

corruption phenomenon, the purpose of our project and how we want to raise awareness in society. Also, to avertise the events that we are planning to engage

society.

Drama camp During the 3rd week, the interns, together with children, will prepare a short

“drama show” with the aim of spreading the anti-corruption messages. First, edu-

cating the children, and through their voices to create an impact on the audience of

their parents and other guests that will attend.

Agoras (Forums& Discussions)

The participants will be multi-profile, and will be divided into groups. There will be

6 Topics that they have to discuss between each others, and in the end the conclu-

sions will be presented.

For each of the topics they will be provided, by our interns, the relevant data to

analyze the topic, elaborate over them and present the group conclusions. For each

of the Agoras we will have representatives for the Final Agora.

Docutour

During the duration of the project, interns they will organize meetings in several

cities, to talk about corruption, spread the Agoras outside the capital of Albania, to

impact a wider audience.

While visiting the most attractive destinations of Albania, they will record and cre-

ate a short video documentary, about this places, highlighting the natural and cul-

tural beauties and their view as foreigners .

Final Agora In this Agora, we’ll have the representatives of all the Agoras, and different parts of

society sharing the main visions of their groups and create the common vision of the Albanian society, and the main messages that we should spread.

Also, in this event, we’re going to present the summary of the project activi-ties. It will be shown the short documentary created during the DOCUTOUR and

other artistic projects, related with corruption.

Timeline of Selection

1. Identification Profile We identify the profile of the candidate based on the needs of the project.

2. Filtering candidates In this phase, we will begin the selection of the appropriate ones from our international database. The selection will consist in an application form and later an interview.

3. Legalities & Preparation After the selection, there will be legal steps that should be taken. For ex, if they have to appy for the visa other documets regarding their period of staying in albania.

4. Reception Trainee & Integration Upon the arrival of the intern, we do: Reception at the airport, accommodation for the trainee, legal and logisitical steps. An intense training of cultural preparation and trainning towards the issue treated with help our specialist partners.

5. Evaluation In order to maintain a high quality service, we do periodic reviews. The evaluations will be made at the beginning, during and after the internship to measure the performance.
