A.0 PART ONE;

A.1 Organization Overview

Youth 4 Social Economic Development Organization (Y4SED) is a nonprofit organization

registered under a Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elder and Children. It deals

on Promotion of youth development in social and economic development. The Organization use

to encourage, empower and influence youths on Creativity. Role of the organization to youths

is promoting awareness on social development, self-determination, entrepreneurships,

promoting gender in the society, environmental management and climatic action; promote

global education for the community. Promoting good health and wellbeing especially in

nutrition.

A.2 Vision Statement

Free Tanzania youths from unemployment and make them a community server.

A.3 Mission Statement

Strive to provide a super value of youths for community base and create a sustainable life,

equality and integrity.

A.4 Objectives

a. To carry on the function of conducting studies and research on issues related to

social and economic development.

b. To carry on the function of implementing programs that enhances business

knowledge, empowerment and strengthens the entrepreneurial culture of the

private sector in rural and urban areas.

c. To promote the reduction of young mortality, improve gender and reproductive

health and Combat HIV/AIDS, malnutrition, malaria and other diseases that

hinder youths’ development.

d. To promote increased access to health services with more focus on Maternal,

Reproductive and Child health care services, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, and Malaria,)

to the marginalized and vulnerable communities in rural and environmentally

restricted areas.

e. To promote access to water and sanitation to the community.

f. To promote environmental sustainability and climatic action in Tanzania.

g. To promote industrial and agricultural sector for employment and Youth

engagement.

h. To encourage and promote volunteerism spirits to youths.

i. To promote sustainable economic development through improvement of policies

and advocacy for good governance, rule of law and maintenance of the legal and

judicial system.

j. To do any other thing which in its opinion is connected with or ancillary to the

above enumerated objectives and aims.

B.0: PART TWO

B.1: Project Overview

“Youth Empowerment and Development for Sustainable Economy in Tanzania” comes from

admitted SDGs on Goal number “8”which state that (Decent work and Economic Growth) when

the organization amplify to strength “Decent Job for Youth” in Tanzania for 2018-2030.

“Youth Empowerment is an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people

gain the ability, authority, and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own

lives and the societies.

“Decent Job for Youth” must prepared in Green themes, where by all programs admired by the

organization and our partners shall ensure creation of economic development for youth with no

negative effect in global (Green economy) that shall speed up social and economic welfare in

Tanzania.

Thus, the Organization has prepared a program known us “#GreenYouth” that shall work

upright with Youths to Youth in influencing, and empower them through business trainings,

funding, Games, Project initiatives, Seminars, facilitate with recreation activities creating conducive

production environment, and teach them on saving habit for their future. That Program shall insist on

social change through Youth Power.

B.2.1Who is #Green Youth

#GreenYouthis kind of youth that’s a “Social Change Catalyst, with aim on address unhealthy

behaviors in minority at-risk youth and provide them opportunities to learn skills and gain

experiences that contribute to more positive lifestyles and enhance their capacity to make

healthier life choices by let environment naturally and community with no effect.

Under this, young peoples in Tanzania will get the opportunities to exploit their power and

skills in creating decent jobs and ensure green economy in Tanzania.

“Youth empowerment is important to me because when empowering the youth and future of the world,

we give them the power of change and the power to break cycles that have caused problems in the past”-

Ashleish, Australia.

B.2: Project Goal, and Objectives

B.2.1Goal:

Creation of decent jobs for youth and ensuring green economy in Global.

B.2.2 Objectives

To ensure creation of job opportunities in green economy.

To empower youth with skills, knowledge, and resources needed to enter into

meaningful and sustainability employment or entrepreneurship.

To develop various social economic projects that will ensure decent jobs opportunities for youth.

To improve, facilitate primary and secondary production, development of agro industries, and

support to small and medium enterprises for the benefit of youth development and community

in general.

To encourage formulation of youth development and saving groups.

To encourage Economic growth and saving habit for youth and women.

C.0 PART THREE.

C.1.Procedures/Scope of Work

The organization has legal right under NGO act (2002) to collaborate with government division

in social economic development. In order to ensure the achievement of project intended goal

and objectives, the organization comprises some procedures;

The project team has to request permission to mobilize youth and women from Local

Government Authorities such as WEO, VEO and MEO.

Then, after ensuring the permission to meet the community (youth and women) the project team

shall present the project overviews to stakeholder and partners of the project so as to create

awareness and credibility of the project. From that stage the project shall be operated upright

according to the work scheme and schedule of the whole project.

During implementation, for project to be viable there should be registration procedure for youth

from local society (rural and urban areas) that will help us to work perpendicular with them as

a project objective intending. After registration there should be seminar where by different

topics concerning project will be presented and demonstrated effectively to targeted group.

Then there should be training and workshop based on entrepreneurship skills, project and funds

Management, Market Development, saving habit as well as sustainability programs for

productive and creation of decent jobs. Moreover, youth will be encouraged to register their

groups and ensure there is a constitution to guide them as a group. Furthermore, the

organization will mobilize all resources such as machines, funds, area for production and other

resources under supervision to ensure effective utilization of those resources.

Moreover in order to fulfill all project targets we shall work hand to hand with partner and key

stakeholders.

Lastly, there must be a monitoring and evaluation in every stage (phase) of a project so as to

ensure a project viability.

C.3 Budget Projection

The indicated budget below shall be implemented for eighteen (18) groups in Tanzania where

by each group shall contain 1000 Youths and will take almost 239 days equal to 8 months for

accomplishment of the task per group. The whole project shall take about 4280 days that are

calculated by 8 working hours for the whole Project years (12 year).
