Introduction
• The project is a lighting design schematic for a Stanfords Restaurant and Bar being built at the Northgate Mall in Seattle, Washington.
• A 3-dimensional fully enclosed model will be used to demonstrate the lighting.
• The intensity of the lighting will be presented using the simulator program AGI.

Scorecard – Previous Plans
• Buy reference books containing building codes for Sri Lanka.
• Begin design for a single classroom within one of the buildings.

Scorecard – What happened
• The EWB Sri Lanka professional team decided that they didn’t want to use the layout anymore.
• We had to chuck the whole project and start over again.
• We chose to work with Interface Engineering instead.

Additional Accomplishments
• Got a new building drawing, including hard copies and .dwg AutoCAD files.
• Received the AutoCAD icons for light fixtures that are used by Interface.

Plans
• Visit a Stanfords Restaurant and Bar and take measurements using a light meter.
• Layout the placement of where we want which type of light fixture.
• Simulate the lights in AGI making sure that we have the proper light levels.
• Start calculating and setting up the circuits.

Concerns/Issues
• Being allowed to take measurements in the local Stanfords Restaurant.
• Having our layout satisfy the Seattle Energy code.
• Have the circuit be as cost effective as possible

Conclusions
• Had to start a new project, but getting back on track
• Should hope to have the lighting design done by the end of the semester.
