Four dimensions of person centred work (Beth Mount)

1. Amplify – Amplify Capacities via Person-Centered Design: Explore elements of person-centered planning that lead to fresh ways for people to discover capacities and strengthen vision with people and their allies. Make gifts and capacities visible. Find places where these are needed.

2. Activate- Activism through Community Building: Explore ways to identify neighborhood as sets and opportunities for development in local communities, and partner with direct support professionals to initiate action for inclusion. Bring possibilities to life day by day.

3. Innovate – Organizational Innovation: Examine organizational investments in innovation and explore innovative prototypes. Explore unknown space to generate new supports.

4. Associate –Civic Association and Engagement: Consider innovative partnerships in local communities that increase participation of all in civic life. Move outside human service territory to join with associations working hopefully in people’s community.
