The majority of these people are young persons from non-Spanish- speaking countries whose integration depends first and foremost on their learning Spanish. Language learning in the classroom must run parallel to the process of learning in non-formal and informal contexts. ACCEM not only provides language learning in a formal context (i.e., Spanish classes) but also fosters the non-formal and informal learning of the language through its different programmes and actions.
