Project Manager III Job Summary The position leads one or more complex, large scale project teams during the full lifecycle to provide guidance and coaching on financials, schedule, process and product aspects of the project. The role spans engagement with project teams during all phases of the project and interfaces significantly with the user community. The Project Manager III is expected to provide guidance on both software development and deployment projects, and on delivery lifecycle approach to individual members of each project team. The role requires supporting the elicitation of risks and issues with assigned projects, and enables leadership visibility to help resolve issues. The Project Manager III acts as a mentor to associate project managers ensuring their success in managing less complex projects. Responsibilities Manages one or more large-scale IT projects from beginning to end. The projects may include development, deployment, infrastructure with complexity around technology, cross-functional dependencies and multiple stakeholders across various business units. Defines project scope, charter, goals and deliverables in support of business goals and works with senior leadership and stakeholders for approvals Ensures that projects are completed on time and meet all business and system requirements. Conducts all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals Ensures project scope is well documented and managed properly throughout the delivery cycle of the project. Develops project plans, schedule and work breakdown structure for projects Communicates project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner Discuss and prioritize project issues with the project team, and provide help/support to the project team as required. Works with resource managers to ensure project staffing and resource plan Collaborates with cross-functional teams including architects, software engineers, developers and technical leads to ensure timely delivery of project Identifies and resolves issues/conflicts within the project team Maintains project tracking and provides status reports to senior leadership. Ensures adherence to Fidelis’ system delivery process guidelines and provides early feedback to project teams to take proactive measures to resolve the issues. Adheres to change management processes during the project lifecycle. Ensures compliance with project deliverables, and project financial accounting.; Establish a strong working relationship with the client(s) within a challenging environment. Ability to break down barriers to communication and demonstrate added value with IT involvement. Requirements 5-7 years professional project management experience 3-5 years healthcare experience large scale implementations / initiatives - size, scope, complexity - 12-18 month initiatives vendor management experience Bachelor's degree required Familiarity with IT policies, standardized work and SDLC is desirable. PMP certification preferred

Requirements

5-7 years professional project management experience

3-5 years healthcare experience

large scale implementations / initiatives - size, scope, complexity - 12-18 month initiatives

vendor management experience

Bachelor's degree required

Familiarity with IT policies, standardized work and SDLC is desirable.

PMP certification preferred
