Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad Founder, Executive President and Managing Trustee
MAEER, Pune
From The Desk of Founder
MIT College of Management (MITCOM) is one of the feathers in the cap of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER). MAEER was established in 1983 and constitutes more than 63 institutions today, delivering KG to PG education with approximately 55,000 students studying in its various institutions. The quest for excellence has resulted in the creation of a MIT College of Management.
The boom in the construction sector and dearth of well qualified and well educated engineers have led to the conception of specialised post graduate programmes in Project & Construction Management, first of its kind in India. Established in 2007, it is heading with the vision of creating the finest techno-managerial professionals for the construction industry.
Prof. Dr. Mangesh T. Karad Executive Director
MIT Group of Institutions, Pune

Changing scenario of the construction industry consists of upcoming multi-disciplinary mega projects with high complexities, speedier construction and breakthrough technologies. It has created enormous need for professionally educated, multi-skilled project engineers and managers who can meet the increasing challenges of execution and management of the multifaceted project management problems. Currently, it is facing an acute shortage of technical executives and skilled human resource.
At MITCOM, it is our constant endeavour to provide the students with the necessary tools and techniques that will enable them to organise their work, as a manager, to meet the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. I am confident that the course which we have started will help the students and the construction industry to shape India into an ever-escalating economy.
