What is it?
• A way of incorporating community service into the classroom while facilitating learning.
• Project-based – uses real world problems but doesn’t actually leave the classroom.

• May not relate to curriculum.
• There are possible danger risks.
• The funds may not be available.

What equipment/ training is required to use it?
• Service learning facilitators to help teachers.
• Learning to use equipment necessary for project.
• Project-based – teacher helping students to use technology.
How much does it cost?
• Grants can be given for service learning materials.
• Project-based – material cost.
