1. PBL Units • Click on the unit tabs on the

left side of the page to navigate from unit to unit.

• Each unit title is written below in quotation marks.

Main Menu – Articles 1 & 3. Student Use

• All e-Books are for students’ use .

• Students can review the main articles at home.

• Supplementary Articles are for students to view at their own will if they want to do further research or find additional information.

• Supplementary articles are not available in the textbooks.

2. Teacher Use • PowerPoint files are

available for teachers ONLY. • Revise the PowerPoint

according to students’ and class needs.

• PowerPoint files are to be used in class for Lesson 1, 2, and 3.

Main Menu – Vocabulary & Comprehension

Vocabulary lists and quizzes are for students to review and take at home.

1. Content Vocabulary

• A list of vocabulary words for the unit theme.

2. Vocabulary Quiz • Click on Vocabulary Quiz

and a pop-up will appear. • There are 8 questions in total. • Students must click ‘Submit’

once they finish.

3. Extended Vocabulary • A list of extra words for the

unit theme

4. Comprehension • Click on ‘Comprehension

Quiz’ to start the quiz. • There are 5 questions in total. • Students must click ‘Submit’

once they finish.

Community – Best Projects (Uploading) Share your students’ work with other

students, teachers, and campuses! (Videotape or take pictures of your

students’ presentations.)

1. Student Information • Select your student’s class. • Write the student’s name. • Write the unit theme.

2. Write an explanation

• Write an explanation about the student’s final project.

3. Upload the student’s project • Drag documents, images,

and video files to upload. OR

• Click ‘Open File’ to choose documents, images, and video files to upload.

4. Save / List • If you are finished, click on

‘Save’ . • Click on ‘List’ if you want to

go back to the main Best Projects page.

upload videos.

1. Community • In the “Community” menu,

there is an icon to help you download the necessary program.

• Click on the to get started.

website.

1. Student Information • Select your student’s class. • Write the student’s name. • Write the unit theme.

1. To continue the process, click (Next) to continue.

conditions, click on (Agree).

3. Click on the boxes that apply to

you and click (Next).

4. Select the folder to save the program.

5. The green bar indicates the downloading progress.

6. Click (Finish) to complete the process.

2. Select the file you’d like to

encode.

3. Check to make sure that you opened the right file.

2. Select the Internet Video – streaming (listed second)

3. Screen size must be set at 640X480 at all times.

4. Choose High Quality (100%).

5. Select WMV to encode your videos as .wmv files.

convert by selecting the box on the left hand side.

2. Click on to change the folder.

3. Click on (Start Encoding) to convert your file(s).
