Office of the Registrar : Gauhati University : Guwahati-14 Applications are invited for the following positions for the research Project entitled “Microbiological and biochemical studies on traditionally fermented rice-beer of North East India” sponsored by DST, Govt. of India, New Delhi under Dr. Diganta Narzary as PI of the project in the Department of Botany, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14 for a period of two years. 1. Project Assistant-1(one) post. Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology. Work experiences in microbiology/molecular biology/bioinformatics will be preferred. Emoluments: Rs. 12,000/- (consolidated) Age Limit: Not more than 28 years Application in plain paper stating Bio-Data with photocopies of all testimonials of candidates are requested to submit to Dr. Diganta Narzary (PI) on or before 10-11-2014.
