HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT BASED ON ZIGBEE COMMUNICATION

In this competitive world human cannot spare his time to perform his daily activities manually without any fail. The most important thing he forgets is to switch off the room lights wherever not required. With this, even the power will be wasted up to some extent. This project gives the best solution for electrical power wastage. Also the manual operation is completely eliminated. The home appliances can be switched on/off using Zigbee without actually going near the switch boards or regulators. The loads like lights, motors, heaters, power controlling system and also current through the loads can be controlled in this project. We can control all loads at a time from one place (control room) without connecting any physical wire between loads and control room. At the same time few appliances of the home can be controlled with Remote and when the pir sensor is detected sensor readings is updating of the same to the server by using zigbee communication.This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.In this project Trnsmitte side few sensors monitors the room condition and based on that loads will be controlled and the same data will be updated on the system wirelessly.SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE TOOLS:Software Tools:1.
