Electronic device to vary the height of the bed

With this system, it is possible to electrically lift up and down the bed. The system is positioned completely below the bed with the maximum flexibility of assembly

Typollogy off ffaullts:: LIIMIIT SWIITCH FAULTthe red warning light flashing with a lower frequency (flashingfrequency is two seconds on and two seconds off). The protectionsystem indicates such a fault in case the control unit does notreceive the standard information from the limit switch.

The cable connecting the limit switch sensor to thecontrol unit is loose.

Disconnect the 8 pole connector on the control unitand check continuity between the yellow cable andthe orange one

The user lowers the bed with the safety beltfastened (the safety belt uses to disconnectdirectly power distribution from the control unit)

Disengage the safety belt; move the bed to theinitial position until the moment it stops and thenlower it. Now the bed will operate again.

The user has erased the pre-set parameters bymistake. The user has entered in the programmingmode resetting the system (or disconnected thepower distribution) or he has exited with anyprogramming. So the bed can no more operate.The bed keeps in alarm condition (slow flashing)also after resetting the system.

The control unit has to be programmed with pre-setstop positions.

Typology of faults: ENGINE PROTECTION FAULTThe red warning light flashes with a higher frequency (flashing frequency is half asecond on and half a second off). The protection system indicates such a fault in caseof an excessive engine effort compared to its standard working. Once the preset limits exceeded, the protection system starts and arrests the device working to allow theuser to remove the cause of the excessive engine effort, without damaging it.

The user raises the bed leaving an object on the bed which iscompressed against the roof.

Press the reset button (if old version, without reset button,remove the power distribution from the control panel); oncethe red warning light stops flashing (please note during thetime that the red warning light flashes, the bed cannot beused), switch on the control panel (keep pressed the arrowupshaped button for 2 seconds) lower the bed and removethe object left on the bed in order to reset the system andlet it operate again.

The user raises the bed leaving a too weight object on thebed.

Press the reset button (if old version, without reset button,remove the power distribution from the control panel); oncethe red warning light stops flashing (please note during thetime that the red warning light flashes, the bed cannot beused), switch on the control panel (keep pressed the arrowupshaped button for 2 seconds) lower thebed and remove the too weight object left on the bed, inorder to reset the system and let it operate again.

The user raises the bed when the charge battery is under 11volts.

Press the reset button (if old version, without reset button,remove the power distribution from the control panel); oncethe red warning light stops flashing (please note during thetime that the red warning light flashes, the bed cannot beused), start the vehicle’s engine, switch on the control panel(keep pressed the arrow-up shaped button for 2 seconds)and bring the vehicle in its end-stoke position (upperposition) to reset the system and let it operate again.

Fault on the encoder or on the cable. To recognize such afault please follow the next procedure: reset the bed usingthe specific button (if old version, without reset button,remove the power distribution from the control panel); oncethe control panel has been reactivated, raise or lower thebed. If the bed stops again after 10 cm stroke, withoutreason or without having found any pre-set stop position,this is the case.

Once the procedure to identify the fault has been repeated,if the bed gives the same fault after only 10 cm stroke,please bring the vehicle to a service centre or contact us tosolve the matter.
