About 10 jobs would be created and provide benefits. A site visit was conducted early February. We are optimistic and waiting for their response. The Corporation has been actively marketing and recruiting businesses for the NW Industrial Park building and the Regional Technology Center. We have responded to requests for information for industrial prospects and are pursuing technology opportunities through our many relationships. Service & Retail Development - Flex PACE The Flex PACE Program has proven to be a highly effective tool for retail and service businesses and multi-family housing. Construction continues on the Valley City Health, Wellness and Physical

Education Center. Opening fall, 2016.

ND Army National Guard Field Maintenance

Shop (FMS)

Construction on the new North Dakota Army National

Guard Field Maintenance Shop is well under way. These

buildings will provide 30,000 square feet of heated

maintenance area and 15,000 square feet of unheated

vehicle storage. The $13 Million project is scheduled for

completion in October of 2016.

This construction project is seen by thousands of

interstate commuters each day. This visibility is another

way to get the positive message out that Valley City-

Barnes County continues to progress.
